Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans during night shift hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless 24-hour patient continuity
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient events
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for real-time patient monitoring and record-keeping
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications; PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in night shift environment
- Proven ability to work independently with critical decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
