Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care during overnight shifts with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to emergent situations using advanced assessment skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor new staff and uphold evidence-based nursing practices
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience required
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and crisis management abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced overnight environments
