Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation using our EMR system
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and communicate critical patient updates to day-shift providers
- Respond to emergency situations with calm expertise and rapid intervention protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards across all patient care areas
- Provide patient education and discharge planning for overnight admissions and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license with BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with night shift preference
- Strong critical thinking skills and emergency response capabilities
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift handoffs and family interactions
- Ability to maintain focus and performance during overnight hours
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
