Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions closely, reporting any significant changes immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
