Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations across critical care units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans
- Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (current)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Night shift experience in Level 1 trauma setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
