Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units during night shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document patient records accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for treatment plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm, decisive action
- Mentor junior staff and uphold hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (compact license preferred)
- BSN or associate degree with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; TNCC/PALS a plus
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
