Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment and care coordination during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using EMR systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical care protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with JCAHO standards
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Precept new nurses and mentor clinical excellence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
