Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans during night shift hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless 24-hour care continuity
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid clinical interventions
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Participate in continuous quality improvement programs
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license with at least 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced night shift environments
- Expertise in electronic health records (Epic/EMR systems)
- Strong critical thinking skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication skills for inter-departmental collaboration
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
