Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and uphold regulatory compliance standards
- Lead rapid response initiatives during critical patient events
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in ICU/ER/Stepdown units
- ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Proven expertise in managing complex patient cases during off-hours
- Exceptional critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong communication skills for effective handovers and family interactions
