Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning for weekend patient population
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Document clinical observations accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain patient safety protocols during high-acuity weekend scenarios
- Participate in rapid response activations and emergency interventions
- Mentor new staff and maintain weekend-specific competencies
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong weekend shift adaptability and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
