Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during night hours, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition using advanced clinical judgment
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic health records
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding nighttime care protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with Arizona endorsement)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
