Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations across varied clinical units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in weekend shift rotations and on-call rotations as required
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BSN degree or equivalent experience with relevant certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; Trauma certification preferred
- Proven expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and documentation standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced weekend environments
