Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration during overnight shifts
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs while maintaining patient safety standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Valid Michigan driver's license for occasional travel
