Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during night shift hours, including medication administration and treatment monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and clinical expertise
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure quality care standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in night shift
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
