Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units during overnight hours
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document clinical progress with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations using advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN required, BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced overnight environments
