Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse medical units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to critical changes
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Utilize electronic health records for documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- ACLS/BLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BSN degree or enrollment in BSN program
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Flexibility to adapt to rotating shift schedules
