Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor critical patients and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC/Cerner experience)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
