Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, planning, and intervention in critical care units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with advanced life support protocols
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry/ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required); PALS preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
