Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in our ICU/ER/Step-down units during night shift hours
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient records with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Maintain emergency response readiness for critical situations
- Provide mentorship to new nurses and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and electronic health record proficiency
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
