Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during overnight hours, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and document all care activities accurately
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Support patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts
