Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients overnight, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient vitals, symptoms, and treatment responses with precision
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical events with calm professionalism
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records using our advanced electronic health record system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license in good standing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in night shift protocols and emergency response
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
