Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute/critical care settings during night hours
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Precept and mentor new nursing staff during night shifts
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced night shift environment
