Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations during overnight hours
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement process)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS/NRP beneficial
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic overnight workflow demands
