Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, ICU, and general medicine units during night shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to critical situations using ACLS/PALS protocols and rapid response protocols
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience with night shift preference
- ACLS/BLS certifications; specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN) a plus
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
