Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs during overnight care
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and communicate critical updates
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in medical/surgical or telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for overnight team collaboration
- Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions during night hours
