Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients overnight, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret patient data, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in our electronic health record system
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs, providing guidance and ensuring quality care standards
- Participate in emergency response procedures and rapid intervention team activations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in telemetry or critical care preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient acuity and census
