Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for overnight patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision during night hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and continuity
- Monitor and respond to critical changes in patient conditions during overnight monitoring
- Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in emergency response protocols and rapid assessment situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida (FL RN)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within 12 months
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
