Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings during overnight hours
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions as needed
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning support
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (Compact License preferred)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
