Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients during night shift hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient events
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during night hours
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Oncology or critical care background highly valued
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
