Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations during overnight hours
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and monitor vital signs with precision
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS and BLS protocols
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience (night shift preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certification; TNCC or trauma experience a plus
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced overnight care environments
