Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies using critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
