Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during overnight shifts, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Lead emergency response procedures including CPR and code blue activations
- Mentor junior nursing staff and facilitate patient/family education
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience (critical care preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (maintained current)
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Experience with Epic EMR system
