Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency and critical care settings during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and communicate effectively with physicians
- Respond to medical emergencies and initiate emergency protocols
- Maintain infection control standards and safety regulations
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license for on-call rotations
