Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment monitoring
- Assess patient conditions, document observations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions during night shifts
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license (or compact license with willingness to endorse)
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in Med-Surg/ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
