Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols and documentation standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and adjust patient care plans in real-time.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during vulnerable times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, ensuring all medical equipment is properly sanitized and functional.
- Document patient progress, interventions, and reactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in high-acuity situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as required by job functions.
