Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans based on nursing standards and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and response to treatments, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during shift handovers and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
