Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, symptoms, and outcomes.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations with composure and clinical skill.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital safety policies and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and ethical standards.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
