Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions and needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and update patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical situations during the night shift.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
