Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status by collecting and analyzing medical data.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical incidents during the night shift.
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
