Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and medical conditions continuously throughout the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities, including interventions, responses, and outcomes, accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to stabilize patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a high-functioning night shift team.
- Commitment to adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
