Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage during night shift rotations.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and intervene immediately in cases of medical emergency.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Georgia (or valid compact license).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills for high-pressure night shifts.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the night shift team.
