Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Support nurses in implementing care plans and responding to emergencies
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Deliver emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care coordination
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year hospital or long-term care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
