Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond immediately to any signs of distress or complications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a night shift team.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuing education.
