Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, identifying any changes that may require immediate intervention.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with critical care or medical-surgical experience being a plus.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse healthcare team.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and high-volume environments.
