Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and healthcare management.
- Document patient care services in medical records in accordance with legal standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and flexible shift schedules.
- Willingness to travel to Texas assignments for career growth.
