Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and medical records.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and efficiency.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
- Computer literacy with EMR experience preferred.
