Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians, following strict protocols.
- Document patient care plans, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the night shift nursing team to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies, code blue situations, and patient calls.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing night shift team.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy (HIPAA), and quality standards.
