Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and health status 24/7 to ensure immediate response to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations during the night shift.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families and patients.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during the night shift hours.
