Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- NICU or Med-Surg experience is a plus but not required for exceptional candidates.
