Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' medical histories, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and established protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care during shift transitions.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and critical patient needs.
- Document all clinical activities, observations, and care plans in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) preferred.
